ACT Foundation is a global charity community which operates in a growing number of countries across Africa, North America, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe. ACT Foundation’s causes and projects are wide and varied, encompassing small initiatives led by an individual or small group, to larger projects carried out in partnership with other organizations.
There are so many ways in which we can serve. Whether by giving our time and talents, by giving a donation or support, all of us can make a difference in the world.
ACT Foundation South Africa made a long-term commitment to support underprivileged children at Shumbashaba, as many of them don’t get a decent cooked meal in weeks.
Long-term support of the dog shelter “Bella” in Budisava, Serbia is ACT Foundation’s commitment. The asylum “Bella” is the only large, private asylum for hundreds of stray dogs in Serbia.
ACT Foundation UK’s vision was to ensure that people from a village in the East of Sri Lanka have access to fresh, clean drinking water. After months of hard work, permission was granted from the local authorities, and our first overseas water well project came to life.
In support of the vision of the world without hunger, in May 2020 ACT Foundation joined its sister charity Ammucare, and Mohanji Foundation, in founding Act4Hunger – a unifying platform for food provisions to the people and other beings in need. The motto of this brand is “Food beyond species“, honoring all species and acknowledging hunger as a universal emotion.
